Matt Pedicini

Matt Pedicini returned to his boyhood club East Meadow SC in 2015.

The Pedicini family name has long been associated with EMSC and the East Meadow soccer community as all Pedicini brothers played their entire youth soccer careers with EMSC, EMHS and graduated to play both collegiately and for U.S Youth National Teams.

Matt played his College years for SUNY Cortland (1991-1994) and is a Graduate of LIU Post University with a BA in Health Education and a Graduate of Adelphi University with a MA in Physical Education. He also received a School Building/District Leader Degree from Queens College in 2008.

Matt later became the Head Girls Soccer Coach at East Meadow High School for six seasons between 2001 – 2007 and was awarded Coach of the Year by the Nassau County Girls Soccer Association in 2001 and 2005. Prior to this stint Matt was also the East Meadow High School Boys Soccer Assistant Coach from 1998-2000.

He was a youth soccer coach for the New York Power (women’s professional franchise) in 2001 and 2002, a LIJSL PDP Head Coach from 2002-2004 and an ENYYSA ODP Head Coach from 2004-2006.

Matt holds a USSF National D License, an NSCAA National Diploma and a USYSA National Youth License. He has held previous youth soccer coaching positions with Carlsbad SC and San Diego Surf Club (1996-1998), NOGA Soccer (1998) and Syosset Soccer Club (2008-2016). 

Matt is also currently a Health and Physical Education teacher at Westbury High School.
